Geology of Yellowstone National Park ** The Quaternary and Pliocene Yellowstone Plateau Volcanic Field of Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana ** Embracing large, diverse, and complex geologic features, Yellowstone National Park is in an area that is critical to the interpretation of many significant regional geologic problems.
