ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES. This applies to all items purchased from the Wyoming State Geological Survey.

Order with confidence, the WSGS never stores your credit card information.  Sales are processed through Bigcommerce.com and Authorize.net.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for payment. All purchases must be prepaid by credit card or check. We no longer bill customers for purchases made at the WSGS sales counter.

Discounts

We do not offer discounts on any of our products.

Returns & Exchanges

We cannot offer any type of refunds or exchanges on items purchased from the WSGS. All sales are final.

Telephone & Email Orders

Telephone, fax, and email orders on our maps and publications will only be filled when full payment is received. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, checks and money orders for phone and email orders. To place an order over the phone or by email, please contact us at 307-766-2286 or wsgs.sales@wyo.gov.

Sales Tax

Shipments to addresses within the state of Wyoming must include sales tax of 6%, collected at the point of origin of the sale, which is the City of Laramie in Albany County.

Sales tax is applied after shipping and handling charges have been added, as mandated by Wyoming statute. All over-the-counter sales are charged 6% sales tax. 

Entities with tax exempt status should furnish a State of Wyoming Tax ID number or a copy of their State of Wyoming Sales Tax Exemption Certificate. Tax exempt sales cannot be placed through the website. Please contact us for tax exempt orders.

Shipping Options & Charges

Orders being shipped to a U.S. mailing address will be mailed FIRST CLASS or PRIORITY via USPS. Alternate methods may be available upon request. We cannot guarantee date or time of delivery once your order leaves our building. Please allow extra time for handling of products that require plotting or computer processing. For online orders, shipping rates are generated automatically during the shipping process.

International Orders

We do not accept international orders.
